Infused Vodka

What's a girl to do with all that leftover vodka? Infuse it with berries!

I first got on this fruit infused vodka kick after a Happy Hour at the Village California Bistro & Wine Bar on Santana Row. It may look and taste like innocent fruit juice, but let me assure you that it is extremely potent!

Me on my second infused vodka drink

Supplies:
  • Fresh, washed organic berries
  • Premium vodka. (The Village Bistro recommends Svedka)
  • A glass jar. (I found that whole berries don't fit down the necks of most vodka bottles.)
  • Eventually you will need a very fine strainer of cheese cloth.
Directions:
  • Wash berries
  • Place in jar
  • Pour vodka over berries
  • Seal tightly and let sit for 6+ weeks

I'm a girl constantly on the hunt for top quality, stellar customer service, and fun when it comes to shopping and eating out. The more affordable, the better. Though, you will quickly see that indulging in handbags - Hello, Louis! - and food - Hello, Foodie! - is a weakness of mine. Yes, posts will primarily pertain to the Bay Area as this is where I currently call "Home." However, I am no stranger to travel so visit often to read up on my finds and to chime in on your faves!
