I have ridiculously bad eyes. I'm talking blind as a bat with a severe astigmatism. I just ordered another set of contact lenses. A 4-pack for each eye is $450 together with my insurance. Crap. Looking into Lasik now.
Anyone out there have a good recommendation? Or have an experience to share?

i had lasik and wished i had not...i HAD great close-up vision and wore glasses for far vision. i had lasik where they did one eye for close vision and one for far...about $3,000.00 that was about 2 years ago. now...of course i'm very very old (age and hormones DO affect vision...)now, i have to wear glass for close vision (just 'readers'). i know everyone is different and lots of people have great results...so keep asking people and find the VERY BEST doctor you can before making this decision.
